Not sure for these 2.5tfsi, but newer MED9.1.2 from R8 are for sure not possible anymore. I had such version from MY2015 for sure.

This thread is fucking retarded. OP has no tools to do the job, nor have a clue how to do so. Its a simple bdm job (with proper tools) END OF STORY!

With proper tools it's a simple non-open ECU job.
But yeah OP doesn't have those nor will have those, so thread is retarded

Bflash and BST, did not try Ktag or Autotuner, but i assume same result. I think you maybe was never faced to such ecu because you did them OBD. See screenshot. Anyway there are bench locked MED9.1.2, if you do not believe me ask bflash support which ecu or from which cars affected...

It's not "bench locked". But most likely needs different exploit.
Bosch did not patch the full RCE SBOOT exploit until middle of 2020. If it exists in MED17 there is a very high probability it also exists in MED9.1.2.
But hey, I don't make flash tools...
