VAG ECU: Bosch MED17.1.1
Software ID in ECU: 4S0907552H 0003

Can't seem to find the FRF file available for this? Apologies if this has been addressed somewhere else, if asking and someone had already answered elsewhere.

UDS Log Shows:
- Compression Type: 1
- Encryption Type: 1

From my research and some comments by members in other threads, I believe encryption 1 is a fixed-table or fixed-key XOR.

Anyone have any idea of the compression or encryption type for the Bosch MED17.1.1? I am assuming compression is LZ.

Strange to hear it.  Smiley
This method is used all ME7.x/MED9.x/some early MED17/EDC17 ecus.
Even old M5.9 ecu and 5HP19 tcu use first release of this method - Bosch BCB '97

Oh wow, very nice! May I ask what tool that is? Looks handy

Also, would you happen to know the encryption as well?
