I am wrapping up a wideband AWP 1.8t swap into a Mk2.

I have a shorted throttle ECU 032RN out of a 6speed car. The tuned file has been backed up and does work on other 6speed ECU's. But has had no start issues on 5speed cars ECU's(032HN).

I cant remember if this is a immo2 vs immo3 file vs ECU specific issue.

Its been a while...but can I just flash any manual/auto wideband 1.8t ECU with this file? Say a 2005 Beetle Auto (032QS) ECU?

I have 2x B5.5 170hp Passat ECU's 4B0906018CM/DA Automatic but from a returnless fuel system car...have a feeling this would be a no-go too.

Before buying an ECU to flash...kinda wanted to check in with you guys.

Cant hurt to just try. Both 03+ ecu's

Also did the quick byte patch for the Control Module Programming not finished as I remember this was an issue in the past with this RN file.

Passat ECU's aren't waterproof but it will work in case of an emergency I suppose

Just get transverse ECU 1024kb and you will be good to go

 No go.

 The CPU's are different.

Infineon B59233(AWP 032RN) vs B59271(AWM 018CM)

233 file on the 271 wont even communicate to VCDS. But Ktag was still able to pull info via bootmode.

Well Ill just have to snag a transverse 032 ecu.
