Howdy!  Wink
I'm trying to find out why my ignition angle is always retarded about 7-9 degrees. I'm supposed to get 12degrees BTDC @ idle, but I'm always getting only about 3degrees BTDC. Please look at the attached xls file for idle log. Also I have attached my ignition angle maps.

You are looking at ignition angle at idle? Why?
Closed loop idle control is done with ignition via fast path and with throttle valve as slow path.

Of course there is always an ignition angle reserve at idle.

What I'm sayings is that I always had 12 degrees BTDC until I converted to 06A906032MJ. Right now I'm transfering values from my old bin and it is really weird that my ignition angle is so retarded. There has to be some map that is retarding my ignition angle...

NOTHING you posted has anything to do with ignition at idle.

Exactly... that is why I was wondering, why the log is made at idle, and the thread fails to mention in any way that the "problem" is at idle.
Ignition "always retarded" is it? Or is it retarded *only* at idle?

AT IDLE by about 6-8 degrees. Tell me what variables to log and I'll do it

Is block 20 showing 6-8 degrees pull at idle? If not, how do you know that timing is being pulled?
The answers are no, and you don't know, because its not.

How does the engine idle? why does it really matter to you what the ignition is at if idle is good?

I already said that my bin file is pulling timing because until I converted my car ecu from 4B0906018DC  to 06A906032MJ it was 10-12 BTDC on idle. Now it is only 3 degrees and I can hear my engine strugling with this timing. Idle is much better at 12 degress BTDC.

So block 20 is showing knock retard on idle?

no, there's no knock. just low ignition angle numbers in block 1 or 2

Then that means no timing is "pulled".

Read LLRMR, and leave all the maps you touched alone.

Please post your KFMIOP, KFMIRL, KFMRES, and KFMRESK.  It sounds like you are either creating or requesting a torque imbalance at idle.
Does your car have a custom camshaft or custom head work?

Head, camshaft stock...

I think I forgot to transfer KFMRES and KFMRESK values from old bin. That might be the source of the problem...

P.S> In the attached image I put screenshots of already transfered KFMRES and KFMRESK maps values, but haven't tested them yet. Gonna post when I'll flash this new version
