I have this spare ecu laying around and it wont connect to Nefmoto Flasher or MPPS Flasher.
I Got this IMMO3 File from the EEPROM. It had also bad CS.
Is this a faulty EEPROM File? Im wondering on the "Cant decode VIN" and "Flash Programming 255" part.
I Flashed a IMMO2 File and the ECU dont want do connect eather. Is a IMMO2 file working ona ECU like this?
Just Bootmode is Possible.

Atleast thats good to know. That would make sense why the ECU wont Run.
Do you know if a Immo2 eeprom works on a immo3 ECU?

Just compared the Files from the IMM02 to the IMMO3 and saw that the File was completely wiped....
Shoud have checked this before..

eeprom is written for a specific flash and should not be changed and maybe that's why you have this problem because someone did it
such changes to the eeprom ecu can damage the ecu

I tried to write the EEPROM but it stays always empty.
I Think the EEPROM is dead tbh. Someone soldered it of the ECU.

That coud be the problem im dealling with. I Tried to put a M-Box file on the ECU and it wont take it. Just the Stock RS4 F Files.
Is there a Work-around? I would try to put a new EEPROM on it and also would like to Put a M-File on.

maybe someone has enabled on eeprom write protection

I coud try to pull the Write Protect to GND and try again reading. The Seller told me that he desoldered the EEPROM just for swapping it. So i dont think there is a read/Write protection

if there is no protection on the eeprom then it must have broken the eeprom or you are using a poor quality programmer

So Finally, ECU is back to Life.  Cheesy
After 1H Oscillating the Eprom was dead.
Now i removed the immo but im not able to flash it to a 551M.
Also in Bootmode there is no chance. Im just able to put a F File on it.
Is there a Workaround for that?  Huh

Desolder the flash and solder a new one in?

I think that’s no problem with the Flash itself.
The CPU won’t take the M File. I don’t know why.
