Hi all,
I have a question about max engine load.

S4wiki say ;
By and large, keeping your max load (at torque peak) under 191 is probably a good idea...
http://s4wiki.com/wiki/Tuning

How can i increase my max load  ?Which maps required re scale? How can i change it safely?

I asked many questions  Grin

this is my a log

Thanks

LDRXN controls caps the load. Not quite sure what you are asking really?

I think he is asking about a way to increas KFMIOP axis limits... IF it is so, you will need to rescale and edit about 5 maps, including kfmiop, kfzwop/2 and one or two others (just look at the hex dump and mouse over axis to see what maps are sharing them in winols)

im thinking he wants to make lower a given load represent more power output..
i.e at 190 load the engine puts out 200bhp.. and there is no more room for tuning..
rescaling some maps and making the engine put out those 200bhp at say 150 load would give more room for tuning, but, what needs to be rescaled..

many people have done this, and might be willing to share some input.. id imagine there are many ways to do it.

starting with rescaling the MLHFM and dropping it say 10-20%.. will make the engine load lower.. but the engine will run lean.. since the air measured is more then the actual reading.. (this is what we want), so you would have to raise KRKTE and/or perhaps TVUB to compensate for the change(add the fueling back to compensate for the increased air)
i havent done this myself, yet, but this is definitely where id start.

then there are many maps based on load that might need some tweaking if you rescale TOO much.

oh.. just a hint.. the later me7.5 with wideband use 16bit variables, and its safe to assume it is not restricted to 191 load.. i tuned an audi s3 engine ending up on 234 load, and it ran happily up there..
..but for the older me7.5 this 191 load cap still applies in many maps, since it uses 8bit variables.

Hi Guys,

Thank you for all answers.

I have a AWT engine. and i'm using GT2781 with 630cc deka injectors.

my load maps x axis up to 145.

and i'm looking 160-165 in my logs. but the value against does not exist the x-axis.

Some tuners makes rescale to 191 or 175.. Why ?

More power means more engine load?

if is this necessary?which maps should be 190 for best tuning ?
i hope, now more understandable.

what can i do generate more engine load ?

i don't understand correctly. if you can tell me map names i'll be very hapy. or not ,you can show with screen shots.

You have exactly same engine code as I have Smiley maybe your ecu is 4B0906018DC  by any change?

That refers to actual, not requested, and also refers to tunes that have an underscaled MAF.

If you have a properly scaled MAF, there are quite a few axis you need to change to handle 191+ load.

I have 3” Audi 225 hp TT Quattro maf & sensor (0 280 218 065 / 06A 906 461M) I want to use this .
But how?  Roll Eyes

I can copy MLHFM from a TT225 and use it.
After?

Is there willing to help me ?  Tongue
