1.8t AJQ boost acting up
« on: July 31, 2022, 06:55:11 AM »
I recently made a tune, but since today the car is acting up. Starting around 2600 RPM it will hassitate to build more boost. I made a log when this happens, but I am not sure what the problem is. To me it sounds mechanically, perhaps a small leak that will cause this?
Right after the log, I started the car again and did another log after, and the car + log looks like it should be. Its after things heat up it causes problems..
All I have done since the tune was a replacement of the PCV system.

N75s are very sensitive to heat, could be related.

Not tune related but if it's struggling to build boost, like cutting ignition, then that could be bad/fouled coils or spark plugs. Especially if your doing all this for the first time. The wastegate rod could also be loose but It sounds like the ECU isn't allowing it to build more boost. You could also try resetting the ECU.

Problem has been found, faulty coils. I had a spare N75 but they work both fine.
