Hello nefmoto community,

I keep getting checksum error after starting or driving 20km my golf 2 AYL swap 2.8 vr6.

I bought an ecu from internet, made it immo off and added hardcut and pops (no ALS/NLS script because deathcode will come for sure)

ECUFix will do the job if im correct and skips checksum area. Is there anyone who can take deathcode out?

Tried;

WinOLS
ECM titanium
Me7Sum
Mpps

Kess gives error after reading, cant correct with kess unfortunately.

Thanks in advance guys

EDIT 09-24-2022 10;02 PM (+1)

wrong edited file with nls, now without

Well ECUFix doesnt work on some of the less common software versions.  Its not a bad tool, but its has its limitations. Im sure I could contact andy and he may be able to add the file to the repo. However I dont think that your issue is flash related.

When writing the readed file it has no issues with p0601

Found 1 of the 2 rsa check skips. Did change manually. Now it will run, after turning off i have to take battery off/on and works again untill turning off again. Before the skip thing what ecufix does it had p0601 inmediately after turning off and wont start. Disabling rsa would fix all issues

Would love to know why ME7Sum did not find the RSA areas... got more info?

If anyone has any other 022906032 bins and/or RSA signature offsets, please post them. I can trivially add ME7Sum support.

Will dig around a bit and see if i can find them myself.

Mostly want to know if anyone knows if these have RSA signatures. I can't find any sign of them.
