From what I saw on the cable recommend thread, those same cables I found everywhere mentioned not working for golf 5 and above. I have a Golf 6 GTI, are those cables compatible or I need another cables?

The nefmoto flasher is only for ME7.

You will want a tactrix cable or openport 2.0 and PCM Flash so you dont brick it...
