original hex v2 or Chinese clone?
try to read the cable with mprog to find out if there is an ft232.
it can be a usb hex. i have one that works with nefmoto. I seem to have already seen several topics on hex v2 no VCP try in mute mode with vcds .... the search bar will help you.
what drivers do you have?
otherwise kkl blue does the job
