Hi All

Ive adjusted calibration  tables like KanLC_MOffset_kl , KanLC_dMMax_kl  , MmrMAufbauLaunch_kl  to try load the k1 clutch on launch control as the stock function just free revs to the KusLaunchNstall_kl setpoint .

With these adjust there is no clutch pressure on launch , what else is needed

Thanks in advance

You are not supposed to slip the clutch/load it during launch control. You will overheat the clutch very quickly like this.
If you need boost, then the correct solution is to do that in the ECU.

Dmitri ,have you done any high level motorsport  ?  Ive  20 years + working on everything from Rallycross to LMP...

You are correct on cooking the clutch if your dumb enough to sit on it too long  , but every high level racecar that Ive worked on that does stationary starts  uses preload .  Preloading the drivetrain = less shock loading   + loading  up the suspention = less load transfere = more grip off the line .

On the Olsberg Fiesta ,  no preload  on launch = 2 car lengths  after 50 meters .

Back to the SuperCopa's , for the past year I've  been  using a  quick hack  with  KusNStallAbsuschMax_ko set at 2800  , KusLauchPBremseEinst_ko set 80 bar to disable the LC function +  some  other stall setpoints  to allow preload  on the starts  . There has been very little additional wear on K1 clutchpack  using  2-3 seconds for launch .

Preload on drag cars is done using a transbrake.
FWD crap is not "high level motorsport".

Next time you need something give background information instead of waving your dick around.
