2009 VW T5 - VAG Commander 1.4
« on: January 26, 2023, 07:11:33 AM »
Hello,
I'd like to extract the PIN-SKC code, switch IMMO ON and pair a new key on my 2009 VW T5 7H AXB engine.
I do have a VAG K+CAN Commander 1.4(China) and matching cable on a Windows 10.
Using K-Line, I can open channel on 07 Kombi so it's reading VIN and instrument cluster type (VDO V04).
However when I'm going in Instrument/Immobilizer I can't read the EEPROM whatever the function.
Same thing trying to read the ECU.
Am I using the wrong software, cable or both?
Instrument Cluster: 7H0 920 851R
ECU: 03890601 6AJ
Long story short my Transporter was stolen and retrieved -lucky me- a few years back. Now it's time to sell it and I don't want the "SAFE" word displayed all over the place.
Thanks already,
Thib

Ok thanks! Abrites and smok appear to be in a totally different price league.
Is there anything cheaper?

Or is there a different software to just read/write the eeprom?

Carprog. Its not as good as other tools, but it can do some job. Some dashboards only clone with this tool.

You can try read and write eeprom via CH341 programmer on dash, but IMMO area is crypted. You can switch immo on or off with VAG dash editor. For ecu you need BDM if you want read and write immo area.
