Anyone had any luck upping the rev limit on a me7.8 996 porsche? I've upped all nmax parameters but still getting a limiter. Also anyone managed to alter eskonf to remove rear o2 heaters - I don't have the eskonf table so don't know what bits to change, so am having to resistor the rear o2s otherwise I lose fuel trims (if I alter error classes I can remove the DTCs but lose trims).
Happy to pay to have this sorted out.
Thanks
Tim

Still not managed to raise the limiter on this. In the below (using the attached binary) you can see it soft limits at 7,300rpm like factory in neutral despite I believe the nmax parameters being raised (it does a better job of keeping to 7,300rpm in gear with lower rpm rate). 'TPS input voltage' (red) in the log is MAF voltage, TPS is logged over CAN and doesn't change at 7,3k rpm.

In the attached based on the a2l I have, I've raised all the relevant nmax values , tested lifting NMXALU and NHRSHB out of the way, set cwnmxgng to FF to see if it's some sort of gear-related limit (I've also tried 00, I have no idea of the bit config for this), and set vnmaxpnr to FF to see if that would force use of NMAXPNR (which I've raised).
No luck with any of it...
I've had a look at the binary posted in here:
http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=13819.msg112369#msg112369
and it seems to be changing the same parameters for NMAX.
Any help/suggestions much appreciated!

Hi,

This unit is more complicated to adjust than others, as you have noticed.
I struggled alot with my 3.6, but I finally discovered a map which solved the issue that the engine would not rise above 7300 rpm.

You have to locate the NMAXGA Map (1x8 bit res) and also adjust this map to the rpm you wish to set NMAX to.

Hope this solve it for you.
