Hi all.
Question to the experience tuners out there. Specs below of 2 vehicles same engine with same Maf sensors but housing size different.
Know first vehicle is the Audi A4 B7 2.0tfsi ea113 Maf sensor: 06F906461A Housing :06D906461 inlet od is 80mm and outlet od is 74 mm.
Second vehicle is vw MK5 gti 2.0tfsi ea113 Maf sensor: 06F906461A installed incorporated in the engine top cover an outlet is oval but around 65mm converted.
Below is picture's of how they are scaled in Eurodyne software. Image 1 is for the VW and Image 2 is for the Audi.
Now larger housing means more Air flow and increase Airflow = increase KG/hr. Why do i not see this in these 2 applications? Can someone please explain this to me?

Can you take the raw data and plot them on the same graph with the same y axis?

I have inserted the VW golf MK6 R Maf profile also.
06J906461B Maf sensor installed in this housing. Looks similar as to Audi Maf housing.
The other difference is the distance it is installed from the Turbo meaning bends and length from tubing after air passed through Maf sensors.

I am before coffee but the spreadsheet is oddly labelled with confusion between pulse width and frequency, an empty column, a third MAF introduced. The idea was to plot A vs B on the same scales to narrow down any differences due to sensors, housings and whether the scaling you were looking at was likely to be the entire explanation. If the same sensor is in different size of housings but using similar scaling, then the principle would be that there is another multiplier elsewhere to locate. Any specifics I could dig up from 4S/4T 5.2 on MED17 may not apply to your platforms and it is a while since I looked at it, I was more giving ideas of the sort of process I would use for you to answer your own question.
