Hi,

Has anyone ever successfully implemented cyclic or rotational idle on a ME7 ecu? Either spark cut or fuel cut?

You mean "ghost cam"
Make the engine run like it has some sort of extreme performance camshafts?

That is one of the benefits  Grin but I think its actually used for cool down. Has anyone ever got it working with an ME7 ecu?

No, it's not... wtf.
If you want increased idle when the engine is hot, then that's a different story and can be done.

You're just trying to make the car sound like a bag of shit.
Do some searches on here, it's been done before.

It will be my next project for my car, ideas include retarding random cylinders  or same cylinders,  with a regular, or random pattern, only when manual dsg mode is selected. Not too hard to do in me7. Yank tank sound

I did a fuel cut rotational idle a few years ago just for fun. It neet for like 10 minutes

Brilliant thanks exactly what I was looking for.

The "effect" is implemented using TMNWLLKHE where it only happens when a certain temperature is reached. How would you go about using a map and or button to turn the "effect" off again?

Snowtrooper seemed to have changed lots of maps. Many youtube vids show a similar effect , on other cars, when they simply change  idle timing parameters only ( and occasionally lambda) with no cam adjustments.

The term is used for jap cars like the wrx when the throttle is kept wide open, or nearly so, but spark to cylinders is cut in a cyclic fashion to keep the engine idling. From what I understood by reading google diarrhea, fuel still gets injected to all cylinders to cool the motor after a hard workout. Rally cars apparently use it.

Rally cars have antilag.
Injecting fuel without burning it is a great way to destroy the bores.
