Hi,

I am converting a DSG car into a manual for track use. I have all the mechanical and wiring side sorted but need to flash the ECU.

VW Golf Mk5 GTI (BWA engine) ECU is a MED9.1 (need manual flash)

Is there a website that has base flashes that can be downloaded? Or does anyone have one I can flash over?

Get back to the basics and first check if ECU doesn't simply allow for manual transmission coding with VCDS, nothing more nothing less. I've yet to see DQ/MT specific software on most of the 2.0 TFSI golfs I've done.

Yes I think you are right.

I have just done a bunch of digging, and seems I need to code the ECU, ABS/ESP and CAN_GATEWAY to manual transmission.

Share here the ID or Autoscan from VCDS then i can tell you if recoding is possible or not.
