Is there a way to find a well defined stock bin for an AUQ ECU?
I have an ECU (06A906032HQ) I want to use to convert my car with an APP engine to wideband and then start tuning.

Since I cant find any .xdf files for the ECU I want to flash a well known and defined stock bin onto the ECU and start from there.

How do I know which bin is compatible with my current ECU that also has a good .xdf to go with?

Many variants are possible and compatible.
Exactly firmware numbers depends on tranny type you have on your APP engine and ABS/ESP type.

My APP is a manual 6 Speed in a Leon, so there should be some options available.
Easiest is probably to get a AUQ Map of a Leon. ESP/ABS should also be the same for that. At least I am not aware of ESP/ABS changes between Leon AUQ and APP

I think best fit cross firmware will be 06A906032HP_0001 Seat Leon 180PS AUQ Euro2
Configurable for 5MT/6MT, ABS or ABS/ESP.
Maps description can be taken from any of following firmwares - all are compatible with HP_0001.
06A906032xx_yyyy
HF_0004, HF_0005
HJ_0002
HL_0001
HK_0002
HN_0001
HS_0007, HS_0008
KP_0203
LT_0001
LM_0001
ML_0001

8N0906018AM_0001

PS: I don't use TunerPro and XDF, but can upload kp-file for winols.

Thanks a bunch!
kp-file works too, was planning to start working with winols and learn the in and outs there anyways. I guess its a good reason to start with that

Works great! Was able to Code the 6Speed and Got VVT as the only Error.
BUT:
The radiator Fan Turns on as soon as ignition is on. Fan Speed is cycling between Off and 100%, unless A/C is on. With A/C on it stays at 100%

Can this be map related? I find that highly unlikely, but it does not happen with the original ECU...

AFAIK there is difference in wiring diagrams of AC and fan control module for 1999 (APP Ecu) and 2001 (AUQ ecu) MY cars.
Old module use 3-wires connection and later version use 2-wires.

Just checked wiring diagrams and it seems the later ones don't have Pin 61 connected to the ECU. On the APP Pin 61 is connected to the Fan Control Modul..
Pin 41 comes from Fan Control Modul and Climate Control and Pin 40 from Fan Control Modul and A/C button.
I dont know what use that 3rd wire had in the APP model ECUs but I guess to just disconnect that Pin from the ECU

Disconnecting Pin 61 worked for the cooling Fan.
Wideband conversion probably went fine aswell.

Why probably? Cause im a tad stupid and installed a LSU 4.9 instead of a LSU 4.2  Cry

Okay, switched to LSU 4.2 and now everything works as intended!

Now working on SAI and VVT off (since the APP does not have it), plus a mild Stage 1 tune.
