Hi,

Anyone know if you need to touch the LPFP maps after upgrading to a bigger pump and upgraded controller? (Bartek 700hp LPFP)

Car just randomly dies when driving normaly and on WOT but not always.
Full tank of fuel and at 80% load the fuel pomp is at 91.6% duty cycle making 1.3Bar?Huh?
I have tested the original controller and the problems remains, also voltage to the controller is a constant 13.5V.
Do i need to adjust a map for flow?? I have done the same upgrade to a MK6 R CDL without a problem.
Sadly i dont have the original pump anymore so i cant switch it back.

Is the new upgraded fuel pump just bad?
Here is a log of what is happening, hope you have a idea whats going wrong.

There is already thread about LPFP&HPFP and it's plenty a lot of stuff about you should start to read it...
BTW I can suggest you to check your return line on HPFP. A Bamboo fitting, dismount it form HPFP and drill it form inside out to 5mm coz it's probably restricted.

And the hard line too, drill em bout and make the return follow less restrictive. After that you will see more LPFP pressure.
