Hi everyone, i've been trying to flash read my ecu (ME7.5) and it keep giving me the same messages;

Reading ECU flash memory.
ECU reports programming session preconditions have been met.
Negotiating communication timings.
Successfully changed to new communication timings.
Requesting security access.
ECU reports that security access is not supported.
Starting diagnostic session.
Successfully started diagnostic session.
Negotiating communication timings.
Reading ECU flash memory failed.

Does anyone already had this problem ? or does anyone knows how to resolv it ?

Thanks everyone

I have the same problem every time i try to flash...

Here's what I do to fix it:
- Wait for error...
- When error occurs, disconnect from ECU
- After that reconnect and try to flash again.

That mostly helps for me.

Hi everyone,

So i've managed to start flash reading the Ecu properly.
the issue is that it take a very long time (i waited about 20 min without any signs on nefmoto software execept the last commande line that says "reading flash Ecu"), i manually cancelled it cause i didn't had the time to let it rest the entire day.
My question is how much time does it usually take to make the full read flash ?

what cable did you use? what nefmoto settings? I read or write in 5 minutes. if you stop reading or writing you run the risk of not having the entire file

I use a Chinese version of ross tech hex , Connect in slow int 38k baud. Some dude on the forum said that a higher baud rate could help get the file faster.

Cause when I’m starting the read it just tells me reading écu flash memory and it is stuck on it.

I’ve tried a few times and waited around 10 min on a 58k baud set up.
