Hi all. I'm looking for a way to adjust my WG on a new turbine, since apparently I overtightened the actuator and it turned out to be around 0.6bar.  my car is trying to drive but the throttle closes due to excessive turbine pressure. I am attaching the log for throttle position and boost, as well as my file. I'm specifically interested in the logic of setting the new pressure because there is no information on med17 on S4wiki, and what is done for med9 and me7.5 does not look like med17.5. In addition to the logic of work, I would like to understand something about I regulation and P regulation of WG.

I only work with med9.1. I look at FR for med17.5. There is no FKLAFUGD in your file?

I would like to see the contents of the map in an example, because my maps have different names since I do not work in winols

Its 1x1 map. Its value is around 0,45. I dont give you more information now because i dont have my files by the hand.

1x1 maps in the WG section:
Min position WG.
Max. WG position.
maximum control threshold WG.
min control threshold WG
Min threshold for switching on "I" component WG
Limitation of mass flow WG when the damper is activated.
Max switching threshold "I" of WG component

FKLAFUGD is output from KLAF. The characteristic value of the flow, which belongs to the ratio of the intake manifold and the ambient pressure (PSPVDKUG).

I found this value in the damos file, but my program for editing this map does not have it.  But I found this map through wINOLS in my ecu file Smiley  What do you suggest doing with the coefficient to begin with?

You have to set wg to 0 and find correct value of FKLAFUGD. You searching for smaller value if you have throttle cut (actual load is bigger than spec.). Next step is find correct values of pressure vs duty cycle of wg. It depends on your turbo (spring pressure) if you need tune FKLAFUGD. How to tune duty cycle is maybe in LDREG in FR. Here maybe someone else help.

that is, I set the “WG position” to 0 everywhere and write down the log for the current boost. How can I understand which value is more suitable? Can you be a little more detailed?

I carefully read what he wrote. "so since I wanted to raise my theoretical mass air flow value by 3x, I just divided FKLAFGD by 3. it was 0.45 and now its 0.15. this removed the ceiling I had reached because of wdkugd_w and now my TB works PERFECTLY as expected. zero hickups, zero gaps, no on/off." It would be a good idea to experiment with the value of 0.45 by reducing it by 0.05 to start with?

If you just set it less or zero, it doesnt solve your overboost. You have also maybe wrong calibration of wg duty cycle. Have boost (when wg isnt 0) to closed throttle is really bad solution. Read funktionsrahmen.

Given link is about to supercharging na engine, are you serious?

Basically you can go with tweaking stock wastegate flow model (*wg1 maps), try to play with wg flow, linearization and fakwg also
Or run precontrol with cwawgtv and kfwgtv iirc
Also the base pressure kfplgu/kfdplgu should represent new wg cracking pressure
