I do not think that the ecu is broken. It's just rubbish on the chip due to the notebook-crash during writing process.
And: No, do not connect power supply to the K-line! Connect battery + and - according to the wiring diagram of your ecu. in addition connect the k-line to your galetto connector, this is the communication line between your software and the ECU.
You will find tons of information how to connect an ECU with the galetto connector and the power supply. Even though it is not for your ECU you will understand the method and the the only thing is to convert this to your (ECU) situation.
Then find out the boot pin (I do not know this but if not in this brilliant forum then there are also other forums where such information are published) and get the ecu into boot mode. Flash it in boot mode and you're happy
