As far as I have been able to read up on the Audi forums, the ECU needs to be reflashed with manual transmission software when going from automatic transmission to manual. In other cars it can be coded, but from what I have read, not on the B6/B7 S4

Maybe the first Noob question; is this true?

If so, then I have been able to find an original ECU file on this forum:

The number corresponds to my ECU: 8E0 907 560.
How can I tell whether this is software for the automatic or for the manual?
