Hello I have an E39 540i with an 8hp swap.
I'm wondering if there are maps in the ECU that could be edited to shorten the torque reduction during upshifts.
Or does anyone know a solution to make the 8hp transmission work better with the ME 7.2? Previously, a slow 5hp transmission was installed... Thanks in advance.

You need to tune the trans, you can not get the desired affect by editing the engine control unit
