Doing ANY sort of tuning without either a backup ECU, or a functioning bootmode flashing setup is a very very very bad idea.

I have flashed my dsm/Mitsubishi ecu 1000 times without a problem. I never imagined being 100% stuck like this. Can someone show me the exact post or info on how to flash with that cable and ground the pin or w.e.

thanks

The couple of times my flash got screwed up, I pulled power to the ecm for a few hours, and was able to reconnect with nefmoto and reflash.

I agree you can unplug both -ground and +positive from battery, take a semi large gauge wire to act as a jumper between the power cables going to the car (NOT THE BATTERY NOTHING SHOULD BE CONNECTED TO BATTERY- Cover the battery terminals just to make sure there is absolutely no contact with the battery.) and dissipate the residual charge left in the ECU, I hold it only for about 5-7 seconds.

what about the problem of not being able to flash  while my ABS light and Brake are flashing, it seems to tell me it doesn't have permission or something, will removing the cluster fix that issue ?

ok so i go out this morning just to do that battery cable thing and wanted to turn off radio so i didn't have to enter code and the abs break light was out...idk why cause its almost always on. so it connects 100% and lets me flash my stock file which is great got my car back. But after I drove 5 feet abs lights back on again and check engine light for p624 and p1606. With the flashed file I had about 8 codes for brake servo and what not. so i come home go to plug it in again and the abs light magically goes out again. IDK why but I guess i have good luck but its connecting fine no tricks of turning ignition on and off to get it to connect. I wanna try another stage 1 tune for a bosch sensor car maybe savages ver.2 but the one I had before was throwing all shorts of codes for like the 02 sensor and what not.

But if someone could explain why the abs/brake light effect flashing that would be nice to inform people of that causing a problem with connecting with nefmoto.

Its a 2000 A6 2.7 T
4B0907551L

Codes after flash were p1606 and p1624. I have a malfunction with my abs module I have already know about since I got the car 3 months ago and it triggers the code for Rough Road and Dash communitcation error for the instrument cluster which I was told from the bad abs module.

I cant clear the codes and they return right away. But sometimes after 45miles or so the light will go out and then after 400miles or so come back on. I also get a code for the tq converter lock up switch which I'm know I need to get fixed but moneys tight.

I wanted to post my dtc from when I had my flashed file. It was a jude flash with bosch maf. Here is the vagcom read out with that flashed time. This is why I wanted stock. But I really wanna do savages v2 is that better then this. I noticed a cut out from  3-4k which was stated to be fixed. I tuned a 450hp eclipse gsx and i know what i feel is some type of timing being pulled or boost control problem.

I also don't know why the door alarm things being triggered or how to fix the nav or park sensors.

Fix your trans first before you try to tune anything.
Your torque converter needs a rebuild.

That's why these cars don't cost anything. Because they all have problems with auto trans, and the engine is a nightmare to work on.
Yea, if a solenoid fixes it, you are lucky. Mostly it's the torque converter seals.

Either way, tuning it will just accelerate it towards it's impending doom.
