My maf is at 0 at all times in ecux.... i cant get it to read at all.. its a 90mm housing with an aftermarket/offbrand Hitachi maf which is brand new...

has anyone seen a MAF go bad to the point where it just doesnt put out anything?


i checked, rechecked, and re wired the thing.. source voltage off the fp relay is 12v when running, 5v from the ecu.. continuity to the signal pin on the ecu plug itself.. ground is good...

the only thing i noticed which could be jsut ECUx... when i start a log and turn the car off during the log ill get the maf to get a spike in reading.. which like i said.. i assume its just the ecux log software getting an abrupt stop in connection.

at this point i need to try another MAF i think.. but i figured id ask here first.

the brand new maf ended up being shot. plugged in a new one with a factory housing(compared to my 90mm) and the car ran like ass until i unplugged it..

so now ill swap that maf to my housing and i should be ready to rock and roll with some logs and tuning.
