Exactly as the title states, I'd like to start fiddling with some maps, but need a good baseline. I, and a buddy both have 2000 a6 2.7t m6 cars, so a map that will eventually be installed in those would be useful. I'm not asking for anything here but advice! Can I use a tip map, and code the ecu with vag-com for a manual car? Or just start with a M6 map? If anyone has some specific reading to point me at, great.

We both have k-boxes, it is my understanding that both can be flashed to any other code from the same era (MY 2000-2002, ME 7.1).
