Does anyone have any good info on writing a defintions file? I've been looking for one for a 2001 a4 1.8t CHbox however it seems pretty much impossible to find.

Please forward a link to the rom.  I'll generate you a good starting point.  Anything specific you are looking for again please note in your reply.

i think the bin is the rom file.

as for maps... injector constant is something i really need to get my 60lb injectors in the car. other than that, timing and fueling would be nice and maybe whatever is required to disable dtc codes for things like sai, evap, n249, ect. I am willing to work on finding this stuff just dont know how to begin.

ayyyyfor, for your information, these cars are not designed to run with with BOVs (blow off valves) and so I recommend that you retain N249 functionality.
