I is only me or this link doesnt work in wiki?

Checksum correction

    Modifying data in the ECU file will invalidate the internal checksum values. These will need to be updated or your car will not start. More info.

Do you need to do this when doing dtc disable? I downloaded the me7check but I dont know how to make it work can someone help?

Validate checksum ALL the time. Me7check will only check to see if your file is ok, it will not correct it. You need tunerpro plug in from mtx electronics (~$12USD). Please read many more threads as this has been well covered. Cheers;)
