Please have a look at my newly modified stage 1 file.  I used the ME7 tuning wizard to do all of the maps.  Next step is disabling the ECU.  If anything looks out of whack let me know?

maybe im missing something but theres only 2 differences in the 2 files you have posted.

I made a mistake and didnt save my changes properly.  I have re-attached it below.  Also, if anyone can do Checksums for me, I would appreciate it Cheesy

100% boost increase at idle ftw!
you have load increased in the middle and decreased on top.
no timing changes, no fuel changes, stock rev limiter.

I suspect he changed only generated KFMIRL/KFMIOP, no? (haven't looked at the file)

If it is true then me7wizz will in most cases lower the top end of kfmirl from stock (unlesss you input into cell A LOT OF BOOST). It is done this way because generator already calculates final boost and stock KFMIRL has way higher values than needed (it is limited then with ldrxn).

Basically if you input 1.0 BAR of boost then the highest number in kfmirl should be ~170. Middle range is increased with aggressiveness cell (also same thing can be achieved with kfped, but I prefer to do everything load related with single map - that's why my wizzard does what it does)

This is a stage 1 tune correct? So stock injectors and fuel pump?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but KRKTE shouldn't be touched in this case.

so you changed injectors? and you really need to edit ldrxn.

I did not change injectors.  I just plugged in the info from the stock injectors in the wizard, and updated the result it gave me.  Should I not e touching them?

Also, wondering why the LDRXN Map is so out?  It is what ME7 wizard popped out.  How can I adjust to improve, and why?

Look, you are going to have to start understanding what you are doing.
You can't just put things into an excel sheet and expect to have a super mega tune.

Flash your car back to stock, it will be quicker and safer that way.
If you want to tune, then first you need to understand what you are changing and why.

I have not flashed my car at all.  I have just been fooling around with the maps.  The whole purpose of this is to find out what I am changing and why.  So far my understanding is as follows:

KFMIRL : requested load

LDRXN: Maximum load (related to KFMIRL)

KFMIOP: from what I understand, it is supposed to be the inverse of kfmirl, but its not that simple.  Still trying to figure out the specifics

I realize that it is not that simple.  I am very mechanically inclined, and have no problem building engines, and putting together BT applications.  I am trying to get a grasp of this whole tuning thing now.  There are not really any DIY's on this site that lead you in the right direction, so I am finding it a little difficult to work at it.  Any info you guys can provide me would be great.  I am in no way looking for answers, but more for explanations.  I'd rather not know the answer, but how to arrive there myself.

http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=970.0  Reply No. 2 explains it very well.  MasterJ's tuning wizzard, and the underlying theory of tuning, is only one way and is not the OEM way.  Nothing against it at all, there's more than one way to skin a cat.  Studying his tool (and, especially, the discussions pro and con on this site) is useful in and of itself, as it helps to see how everything is related.  Don't get caught up with thinking you need a Stage 97 tune right off the bat.  The journey is half the fun.  The easist way to get started IMHO is incrementally.  Increase LDRXN (and variants as they may exist) moderately and see what other parameters may need need to be adjusted as a result to retain driveability etc.  LEARN HOW TO LOG, or you're going nowhere fast.  Actually, do this before you do anything else or you have no empircal way of knowing effects your changes have had.  Adjust LDRXN a bit more, rinse and repeat. Look at other tunes from people on this site THAT KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING and see what was changed and understand why.  Add in fueling, understanding the pros and cons of the various methods that have been ferreted out.  Add in timing, and, if you go far enough or change hardware, PID control etc.  The funktionrahman is a great place to start to noodle it out.  Search on the parameter you think you want to monkey with and understand how it works.  Once you've got a good understanding of what the OEM did and why (as much as we can know, anyway), then make the switch to the method used by MasterJ's tool if you should so choose. 

Sneak up on the ideal tune for you.  Enough plattitudes?
