My ECU 4D0907558G (1999 A8 4D 3.7) replies with "ServiceNotSupported" to RequestUpload. Also, the TesterPresent response does not get received by the program. Afterwards, a "terminal 30 voltage too low" error is recorded, but this seems to be a side effect as I have tried with a charger attached.

What is the make, model and year of the car?
Cars before 2000 don't all support reading and writing the flash memory.
RequestUpload service not supported can also mean that a tuner has disabled reading the ECU flash memory.
The TesterPresent error you got should be fixed in the next software release.

Audi A8 3.7 from 1999 ("Facelift", 2000 model year). The ECU is stock, it hasn't been tuned. Will try the next release once it's out. Keep up the good work.

It looks like your car doesn't support KWP2000. My S4 is a 99 and doesn't either, so I had to swap the ECU from a slightly later model.

Facelift A8s support KWP2000, Lemmiwinks and Unisettings use it to change adaptation channel values.

It's possible that your car supports the KWP2000 protocol, but that it does not support flashing over KWP2000.

Also,
try it on the bench out of car. I have to flash mine out of car, something else on the K line mustn't like it.

Could be. I don't have a power supply for this though. Also, so far I didn't succeed in finding the immo functions in the firmware anyway, and there is little tuning possible for a naturally aspirated petrol engine. Plus I wouldn't know what to change, there are no tuned maps for these engines anywhere.

Turbo R32 FTW. Then you would have a reason to tune the maps.

There is no space for a turbo in the A8... Audi's turbo V8s are dry sump versions. One guy from the owner's club here put years of work into a turbo conversion, and it barely works..engine is more outside the car than inside. Also, you need one of the rare S8s with a manual transmission for this, as the charged engine would tear the automatic transmission apart.
There are NOS S8s with about 550 HP though.
