I found a few things in your rom, but I'm missing more than I found.  The variation in the 1.8T ecus is much more than the 2.7TT.  they almost need doing from scratch each time.

It's going to take a little patience this one.

no prob spen let me know what you find.
Im concerned with being able to adjust the boost,fuel and timing maps mainly.
but the more info the better it would benifit may people.

I compared your file against my 2003 A4 1.8T, also a 5spd Quatro, USA.  There are 3188 differences, and that is with the exact ecu number 8E0 909 518AF.  Is yours stock for certain?

Do you have the same software version? Should be 1037366883, version 0003.
You can have a different sw version on the same ECU number.

yea could you please post your software and revision number.
Also think you could post the binary to the original section. wondering if there is a performance difference. do you have the Sport model?
i know the sports come with a K03S does yours come with the same trim of turbo?

Here's my USA 2003 A4 1.8TQM 8E0909518AF ecu dump which I posted on another tuning forum:  8E0909518AF_0261207939_7366883_0003_1_8L_R4_5VT__audi_170_5s.std

Spen, have you found any usable amount of maps?

Edit: My ECU binary and the one attached to the first post are binary identical.

Add for full 518AF SW-version collection. Ver.0002
BTW this ECU is not only for 5S-tranny.
It's universal and can be configured on the car for:
- 5S, 5AT or CVT trannies
- with and without ESP/ASR function
- FWD or AWD
