I have the 01D030B injectors made by Lucas/Delphi rated at 515cc @ 4.0 bar. Curious if anyone else is using these and what your experiences have been with them.

ASP used to sell they with their K04 fueling kit.

I had used them long ago.  It depends on your fueling requirements - with their K04 tune I was logging 85-95% duty cycle, which is a no-no.  I personally feel that a strong K04 car should be running 60's.  My car never ran well with the 515's.

You can find 60's on e-bay for $43 each right now - I purchased a set from this guy and he shipped them same day:

Thanks for the quick reply, I haven't logged duty cycle with these yet with my current tune. I'll do that during lunch today and see where I'm at. Those injectors look like a good option, what duty cycle are you seeing with those now?

I have seen a peak of 75% depending on the weather, but I am running more boost and combined the 3 inch downpipes into a single 3.5 inch exhaust to the bumper.  I need to hit the dyno soon.

My requested lambda was far to rich when I took the log today. I'll fix that and report back with my duty cycle data. .72 lambda resulted in 100% duty cycle under some conditions. Noob mistake, didn't check that table before doing anything else.

Just put it all into my signature. Sorry I didn't do that before. What is yours?

Forgot to include that I'm using the stock 4.0 bar FPR.

Just checked duty cycle again now that I have the correct lambda table.
15ms at 6500 RPM is 81% duty cycle with 380 g/s MAF

K04 hybrids now, 60's, 85mm MAF, MBC with N75 bypassed since I love how snappy the car is with the MBC.

How much boost are you running?  Looks like you're right on the brink with those injectors.

Depending on injector there is a point where they will actually deliver less fuel at the higher duty cycle until they are pulsed static... The thing is, I think an adjustable FPR to slightly bump the fuel pressure is probably about the same price as a set of 60's. I have always been a fan of bumping the fuel pressure on N/A cars, but add in high boost, and the FPR being boost sensitive... Tongue

I have it calibrated to run 21.5 psi. I'll keep the N75, I like the electronic control personally. I could also run a 5 bar FPR and see what that does for me. I need to install the 044 Bosch intank pump first though, I doubt my stock pump would keep up trying to maintain 5 bar.

What are your K04 hybrids? I'm interested in the frankenturbos as one of my K04s is starting to make noise. Are your's blouch hybrids?

These are third-hand K16/K04, I believe Buehns...  They have a pretty good midrange improvement over K04's.  The RS4K04 is also a nice turbo, but with GT eliminators at that price point - uh... thats a no brainer :p

I bought my car with the ASP stage 3 kit, suspension, brakes etc etc so now I'm just making what I have work while I decide what I want to upgrade.

Yeah, I bought the ASP kit, and it just never ran right...  Then I decided to re-tune it myself, then found a deal on the turbos.

The ASP tune was terrible on my car, thus why I redid everything as well. It was actually very dangerous. The car was pulling up to 13* of timing under some conditions. Scary stuff.

Sounds familiar...  To their credit they did try to resolve the issues at the end, but that was after years had passed and I had been engaging on/off with them to try to get it resolved and then one day blew them up on one of the forums.  The car was also lean and rich all over the place.  8:1 AFR's at times, massive correction factors, crazy audible detonation, and I'd see 30+ PSI at times...  good times...
