Not going to work, unless you put MAF on pressure side, and even then it's not going to work very well.

What problem are you trying to solve that can't be fixed with a normal DV?

Surely everything you hear is 100% right.
Go to the person you heard it from and let them do it then? Why are you asking here?

The only way to do it is to build a blow through MAF setup so the BOV dumps BEFORE the air is measured. Otherwise you'll run pig rich due to the massive air leak post maf.

Sure. If you could figure out a way to measure the amount of air being lost via the BOV, and then subtract it from the volume of air that entered the system before the maf signal made it to the ecu.

(You can't do this.)

If you want a BOV, or atmospheric DV, you have ONE choice. BLOWTHROUGH  MAF, which measures the air entering the engine after the BOV to take into account the losses when the valve cracks.

Did you miss the part in parenthesis?

(YOU CAN'T DO THIS)

To run a BOV properly in a draw through application you would have to find a way to measure the air that escapes the BOV and subtract it from the air that entered to provide a corrected figure to the ecu. As there is no way to do this, blowthrough is your only option.
