Trying to work out simple stuff like DTC removal/forced readiness for my 1.8T (06A906032NK, ME7.5, 1.8T 180HP North American).  I have the original bin if that helps, but mainly just looking for anyone who has any existing information to share.  Notes you jotted down on a napkin, something you read somewhere, a link, anything.

(original bin: http://dev.mynameistoby.com/cars/bins/06A906032NK_0261208163_367967.bin)

Thanks in advance.  Kiss

I have no damos for your file, sorry.

I assume you want to disable o2 sensor, I think these adresses are correct for your file:
CLAHSH   107A2
CLAHSHE   107A4
CDHSH   1819E
CDHSHE   1819F
CDKAT   181A3
CDLSH   181AB
In 8bit mode cero them and remember to correct checksums before flashing  Smiley

It's ok.  Anything is better than nothing! Smiley

Is there a reference document for the definition of those codewords?  I presume they are in some DAMOS file somewhere, but given that the ME7.x is used on multiple engines, I'm curious if the codewords in one version would have the same meaning as identical codewords in the others.

But will they give it to me is the question.  Grin

but what will you do with the damos is the question.

I've already given you information on how delete rear o2 sensor, have you tested it in your car?

this is easy stuff here. Smiley

I've cross-referenced with your findings for the SAI/evap/o2 deletion, but your file and mine are slightly off, so until I get my actual cable to start flashing and being able to validate actual changes... I'm just working on hard information that I can find for my specific ECU. Smiley

but what will you do with the damos is the question.

I've already given you information on how delete rear o2 sensor, have you tested it in your car?

What would I do with it?  Figure out how to code out a need for N80/N112 for fuel adaption, rear O2 delete, SAI delete, launch control, etc etc... anything and everything I could learn to do!

While I appreciate the hints on deleting my rear O2, there are other things I want to delete, namely SAI/evap, so unless you knew those... a DAMOS for my ECU would be my best bet. Tongue

Anyways, as stated above, still waiting on my cable... can't test anything yet.  Mostly just poking around and trying to get my bearings.  That, and finding something to correct the checksums that doesn't cost $$$ is proving to be a pain. Tongue

What about the memory locations for them? Tongue

I'm curious, though: are you pulling these from memory (as in your memory, not flash memory Tongue ) or do you have a document that you're reading them from?

Unfortunately my memory isn't up to the level of remembering german acronyms, I pulling these from my notes.

The maps above are which I use to flash us-spec files in my car.

Fair enough, and again, I appreciate your knowledge thus far.  Any hopes of memory locations for the last six codewords you mentioned? Smiley
