I have a DAMOS for M4.4 and have found many pertinent maps, but can't find anything related to the injection constant or linerization of hot film voltage (MAF scaling). Anyone have any documents they'd like to share?  Grin

To anyone who has WINOLS with the DAMOS/ASAP2 plugin would you mind contacting me? It would be nice if I could send you a DAMOS and a .bin and you could send me a .ols file.

Got them, but I'm having a problem importing them. I have the proper plugin, it's just not working? Still working on it though Smiley

Looking over the DAMOS, you should remove the first 5 lines. I believe there was some text in there edited as an email. Just remove those first 5 lines and it should be good to go.

Thanks man! Unfortunately I'm getting the error "The version in this file is too new for this OLS version and cannot be used. Please use the newest OLS version"  Do you have any idea how I could resolve this issue? Perhaps you could create the .ols in an older version of WINOLS?

Awesome! That works thanks again! I'll update this thread with a translated .kp when I'm done.

I've found a few pertinent maps, but am having trouble finding the injector constant. I've tried searching for anything with the terms konstante, spritz, kraftstoff/brenstoff, but can't find anything. The only thing I have any confidence in is "tlw-Schwelle für Nachspritzer" (threshold for supplementary injection)with units "Zeitumrechnung fuer KFTLW/ms" (Conversion time for KFTLW / ms). I know TLW means load signal, but I'm not sure what the KF in front means.

I haven't looked at the attached OLS yet, but from memory I think you are looking for a segment in 4.4 called "Einspritzung, Grundfunktion" and it basically only contains three functions.

1. Basic factor (FGAT)
2. Correction for battery voltage (TVUB)
3. Minimum injector open time (TEMIN)

If my memory serves me well, these are the ones I've used in the past when switching to larger injectors.

EDIT: Checked the OLS and it's there... Just search for "FGAT" and you will see it.

Thanks, I actually already found it. I have a .xdf that has about 30 tables and scalars in it now. I just need to figure out how to write a checksum calculation.

Have you had any luck scaling for a larger MAF? I haven't found anything similar to linearization of hot-film voltage. I've been through every HFM map and haven't found anything related to voltage.

I just need to figure out how to write a checksum calculation.

Easily done in any HEX editor manually... Takes about 5 seconds.
There are two checksums in these files.

Checksum 1 (for range 0x0 - 0xFEFF) is located at adress 0xFF00
Checksum 2 (for range 0x10000 - 0x1FEFF) is located at adress 0x1FF00

Both checksums are added bytes as 16 bit words so just use any freeware HEX editor that can calculate and you are done in a few seconds.
