Hi guys,

I swapped my engine from AGU to AUQ and according to this I need to swap my current ECU 3.8.x to ME7.5.
But I need some help with below:
1. I read EEPROM from my new ME7.5;
2. Defeated IMMO in the eeprom.bin file (incresed 0x12,0x22 and substracted 0x1E,0x2E)

3. Can I just change VIN in EEPROM with HEX editor?
4. How can I recalculate checksum for changed eeprom file?
5. When I recalculate the checksum I should just to write the eeprom file into ME7.5?

Please guys, could someone check my new eeprom file in order not bricked my ECU?

According to the utility from the topic http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=1727.0- I've defeated IMMO but the checksum wasn't changed. Is it correct?

2 checksum(s) where corrected in this file.
■ Opening 'dolan.bin' file for writing
■ Writing to file
■ Validating size correct 512=512
■ All OK, closing file

This file is off. You can change the vin, and recheck it, but I'd verify it works prior.

yes you can read eeprom with KTAG.
And than mod Eeprom file and write back.
