I was browsing the my car forums when I had the idea of open source ECU modification and wanted to look into it more to see if there was an presence in the VW community. I went to school for electronics engineering, so something like this is right up my ally. I love electronics and VW's. I currently own a 2001 GTI 1.8T and was looking to learn and understand what I would be doing before I start and possibly brick the ECU and make my wife angry, ha ha.
