ME7.5 Immo II ecu, pin 21 needed?
« on: April 16, 2013, 06:17:23 AM »
I have a 2001 Jetta 1.8T with an 06a 906 032 GH ecu. I am making a bench harness and I see in the bench harness DIY it shows +12v to pin 21 for Immo equipped cars. Is this only Immo 3, or do I need it for Immo 2 also? I don't want to send +12v to somewhere not needed.

From my experience thus far, the difference between immo II and III is software, not hardware.
I power pin 21 on my bench harness, and I have flashed and used both immo II and III setups onto the same package.
