Can anyone help me make my bench harness. The color of the wires do not match what the colors are in the DIY that I found. Any help would be appreciated.

the color of the wires? connect the relevant pins to the obd connector and power supply.
Read the benchflash s4 sticky. It has all the information you'll need within the first five posts.

Pin 21 isn't needed on me7.1, but any vehicle with immobilizer requires it to be powered to read/write. |

I should clarify. You shouldn't have to power pin 21 on an s4, but if you're working with an a6 or me7.5 you will need to supply pin 21 with power. It won't hurt regardless, so you might as well.

aha. mk4 dubs are def. immo equipped. you might not have the wire in the harness, but it certainly won't hurt to power pin 21. I did.

Not trying to sound stupid. But how to I just add that wire to the ecu connection? It's not like the OBD side where it unclipped and I could just move it |
