Everything connects well and all of that, I want to read my stock flash on my pcm to save it to have in case of issue with flashing a new tune on the car, but this is as far as it gets...
"Validated FTDI device is in dumb mode.
Disconnected
Connecting...
Starting fast init connection.
Connecting to address 0x01.
Fast init sent, sending start communication request.
Switching to KWP2000 session.
Connected
Disabling Windows sleep mode.
Reading ECU flash memory.
ECU reports programming session preconditions have been met.
Negotiating communication timings.
Successfully changed to new communication timings.
Requesting security access.
ECU reports that security access is not supported.
Starting diagnostic session.
Successfully started diagnostic session.
Negotiating communication timings."

it just stops right there every time!! any ideas on what I need to change or look at?

Every time this happens to me it's the cable. I have an EPT I use (cable configuration file for use with m-prog) that clears this right up. This is assuming you're using a standard ft232r cable. Feel free to google message me, I'm free right now and can give you some direction. My email is in my profile.
