Hi,

i have install a 2006 Golf MK5 R32 Motor in my Golf MK4, but i have errors.
My ECU ist complete original but i get errors, but I don't know why.
I have wired all cables correct and messured them already, but there are no errors.

My ECU tells me some errors.

17072/P0688/001672 - ECM Power Relay Load Circuit: (J271): Open Circuit
-> but all is wired correktly and all fuses are OK

16725/P0341/000833 - Camshaft Position Sensor (G40): Implausible Signal
- Wires are checked an ok, I also have changed the sensor, checked the timings but there is no error

and i get a lot of other errors because the control units like MK5 Dashboard, ABS, ESP, Airbag are not installed.

Because I have checked all wires repeated and I can't find the error there, the faulty must be the ECU.

Does sombody know how i can fix it?

the P0341 error looks like a timing problem or the engine have mk4 vanos build in.Check the timing again and looks from the exhaust side to the marker.

What was the original engine in it?

As said there are a lot of variances in the sub and main functions between the 032 ECU's, there'll be full cam timing on an R32 engine compared with an earlier V6 4mo engine such as the AUE (BDE/BDF's had more cam control - inlet and exhaust NWE and NWA maps). R32 has wideband lambda controls over, say, a previous 20vt engine which has narrowband etc - so what engine did you change from, just the R32 mk4 engine to the newer FSI one?

I'm trying to salvage my full defined maps due to a Windows problem but the more info you can give me the more I may be able to help
