Hi guys. this is my first post. Ive been trolling for a few months. I recently acquired a wrecked 2002 a6 with apr ecu upgrade. I was hoping to swap into my 2000 a6 dd. However, i`m having problems with immobilizer I think. It fires but cuts out after about a second or 2. Im new to ecu tuning. Im more of a carb guy but im trying not to be old school. lol If anyone could help me out I would appreciate maybe give me some pointers. I have vcds and a ftdi cable with galletto but no idea how to retrieve ecu files.

You'll have to defeat the immobilizer (read the "understanding/retrofitting immobilizer" sticky) and install the 2002 MAF sensor. Good luck, and welcome.
