Hello

First of all i'm so happy to find tis great forum. In 10 minutes i've learned more than two entire months in searchs on Google!

Then i beg you apologize but my english is weak  Embarrassed

I have one big problema with my car. It is one Audi A4 B6, TDI, from 2004 with the cluster 8E0 920 900 M RB4.

My cluster shows SAFE and the needles are crazy and also the AC don't work well.

I think that something is wrong with the dump file, but the car start and i can run with it.

Can someone, please, verify this dump and if possible fix it?

 I would stay very gratefull.

 Thanks in advance
 Carlos from Portugal

There is a fuse for the cluster in the fuse panel.
Check the cluster fuse and see if its ok.

Did you try to write anything to the cluster with that tool?
Like change the mileage or do anything other than read it?

After many attempts i think that the cluster is dead. The mechanical change the motor of the car and then he have fried the cluster. Maybe when he attempt to change mileage.
I have bought another cluster and someone have cloned the cluster and all works now.
But even now i don't know what is wrong with the cluster.  Undecided

RB4 clusters are encrypted.
You cannot use clone tools to write to them.

There is only ha handful of tools that will work.

DON'T write to RB4/RB8 clusters with clone tools.
