ok sweet. next question. I'm a newbie to vw tuning hehe... this opens in winols correct? I can only find a beta version of ols... I'm wanting to play around with this... I've got a ecu for my jetta(bought new one, got inmost reprogrammed and it wasn't the issue) is there a writeup of something explaining winols and where can I look for a good copy of it?

What I've noticed, not every 032HJ is equal to 032HJ. I have two versions, my original is 0003 (year 2004) and spare (year 2001) is 0002. Spare corresponds to definitions in this topic but my original, 0003 fits perfectly to HN definitions  Both of them works perfectly despite different map locations. |

Any special that has to be done to import a map pack? I have WinOLS 1.721 and the map pack for HS. I created a new project, imported the binary for 032HS provided by ArgDub, then try to import the map pack he provided. It asks if I want to apply a map offset, I leave that all blank, and then hit ok. It doesn't throw an error but maps are never added. Not sure if I'm missing a step or a checkbox somewhere.  |

I have HS with SW0007. This def seems to match up and all but I cannot find TNMXH. I'm trying to do the "soft" launch and TNMXH is the last thing I need to change.
Will you update the definition when you get a chance or tell me how/where to find TNMXH?

16B00 TNMXH Maximale Zeitdauer für erhöhte Drehzahlgrenze (1x1) /s - 0 - 0 0.0000 I found it using definition of Audi TT 225 BAM 8N0906018CB opened in left window and in right window I opened HS 0007 hexdump, found KFMIOP and below it found group of values with same offsets from previous map, including TNMXH. You can easily use the same technique. |
