Hey, just dropped in to say that your motor looks almost as sexy as mine. Good luck with the rest. Going to keep an eye on the thread!

Unfortunately, there is still an underlying fueling problem at higher Boost/RPM, but at least now air/fuel ratios (and torque) are reacting reasonably to changes in compensation in the software.
I'm still awaiting a fuel pressure sensor to confirm while looking into a new fuel pump set-up. I would have preferred to use the Bosch 044, but I was told it would not fit in the A6 fuel tank.
What about a Walbro 400 or a DW301 pump? I have the deatschwerks installed in my allroad, it fits in the stock basket - according to julex in this post: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/520153-Stage-3-Fuel-Pump?p=8322144&viewfull=1#post8322144...there are a variety of pumps that fit in the stock basket.

Walbro 450 works well with the A6, althouh you do need to cut down the pump outlet 1-2 inches for you to close the lid without any kinks.

Seriously though your build is sick and it is going to completely haul some ass. The amount of work and attention to precision detail is astounding. Perhaps you can give me the honor of driving the car at some point? Very similar to this thread.

Is that what you are running with your K04RS6/K24s? Working out OK so far? I'm looking at the 044 + surge tank or the Walbro 450. Figured I'd try to fit the 044 in the tank somehow first. Sucks that I'm broke right now. Selling misc parts on AZ just to get the new pump and the few remaining parts for meth setup. There is no need to run a huge high pressure pump in front of a surge tank (actually it's recommended that you don't). The stock pump is more then enough to feed the surge tank.

You just fell into the abyss. I split this off of the build thread because we resorted to fucking with each other. Take your helpful posts elsewhere
