i've hunted everywhere for a definition file of some sort for ME7.5 to tune my GTI 1.8T. all the hits i get are for ME7.1. anyone out there have or working on a definition they would be willing to share? thanks.

the rom named test02.bin above is Golf GTI1.8T ME7.5 06A906032CL 0261206552 354128 I generated an XDF based on the rom. XDF contains  take care on the MAF linearisation map, its so large it often crashes Tunerpro. |

that bin is only 32k, and i dont recognise the layout. Is this a small portion of the whole rom? |

Hi Spen,
actually it is whole file.
I have used MPPS for reading the from ECU ...
It said that read is successfuly finished ...
That file size should not be a tool depended?
I belive that bin file is data only, becouse it is no K-line but CAN (and if I got it right for CAN MPPS reads data only ). I am not an expert, maybe I am wrong ...

I'll have to manually disassemble that file. That takes a while. Then I'll be able to tell you what it is maybe.
Just opening it up in a hex editor, it doesn't look like ME7. Any chance you've pulled the internal rom from the microprocessor? Your rom starts with what looks like an interrupt vector table. Maybe you've downloaded the realtime OS (ercos) from your ECU??

Hi Spen, thanks for replay  To be honest, I am just have connected MPPS flasher with a car. It repored me a ECU type (Bosch ME7.6.2). And I have selected "Read", and after a while it has finished and created that file ... Afterwards I have seen that MPPS has default option to read Data only, and for K-Line only it has Full read option. I have try that option also but it has generated identical file.
