hi everyone, so i was attempting to defeat the immo on a me7.5 ecu from a 2004 jetta 2.0l
i was given a junkyard ecu to defeat the immo from what i read on this forum. i believe i did the procedure correctly. however the car will not start at all now and im a bit confused as to why.
I changed two bytes from 01 to 02 and i decreased the check sum by 1 on each corresponding line.

i have attached the unmodified/modified files.

the ecu number is 06A 906 032 NA

thanks in advance

Your work is correct, if it won't start the problem is elsewhere.

Hello,

What number you see in 01-Engine, 10-Adaptation, group 91 ?

When you turn the ignition on, the glowplug light goes on for a second ?
