to all the people spending time to make this what it is. Ive been reading off and on here for about a month, I used to think I was pretty smart, but the more I read, the more I realize I know next to nothing about these management systems. Ive been a vw/audi mechanic for close to 10 years now, and have some experience with a few megasquirt systems that Ive installed and had running pretty well. Motronic systems are a whole new world to me and I need to learn this to make my b6 2.7t project work.

Thanks to this site I was able to perform my first read, modification, checksum fix(the me7sum and check tools rock!), and burn tonight, converting my auto L box to an M box for use in my 6spd b6.

Looks like he made it.

Gotta be resourceful.

it almost looks like the female connector and where its mounted are 1 piece! nice! I think that way is a good idea also because there isn't a bunch of wires everywhere and aligator clips to slip off and touch the wrong pin.

i think the point being was he made it 1 piece. Smiley
theres plenty of room in the tops of the housing to cut and add a switch or female obd2 in his case.
