Thanks for the file!  Do you happen to know what year S8 this is from, and if it is manual or auto?

I have a 2000 A6 4.2 that I did a 6speed swap on.  Most of the other guys are flashing the 03-04 S6 manual file, but my ECU is me7.1.  So, I was hoping maybe an early D2 S8 file might be compatible.  I also have ported/polished S8 heads and an intake manifold that will be going on the car.

So, I did a search and found the file looks like it is from a AQH motor.  That is perfect, because this link shows the AQH is me7.1

Now I just have to find out if it is a manual file, or auto.

Hey guis. I am driving S6 2001 originaly manual, Europe. I am interested in tuning my ecu (SAI, post cat sensors etc.). If someone would guide me through steps to read my .bin i would share it with You.
Have some experience in eeprom flashing. Will it be possible to read it through OBD or i will have to solder  and read it from ecu itself?
