I live in sunny san diego, the coldest temps I see are in the low 50s in the morning.  However, even at this high of a temperature i'm getting some issues with e85.  First, it takes ususally 2 attempts at cranking the engine before it comes to life.  2nd, if I try to drive it without letting it idle for at least 2 minutes, as soon as I press the throttle the car falls on its face.  I've attached about 1-2 minute log that starts with me cranking the motor and starting it first thing in the morning.  I blip the throttle several times throughout this log to simulate the falling on its face I'm experiencing.  From what I see the car is going very lean as soon as I touch the throttle and then over compensates and goes super rich.  Any input as to what I should adjust would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

There is at least two thing (I think)
-Your enrichment is not sufficient (I've solved this thing on mine).
-Your wall wetting maps are sames as gasoline (like me), and it's a problem (I think).

I'm going dig in this direction soon . . .

If you find some things, you can say it there.

Thanks !

The log above is with cold start and warm up maps enriched about 30% over stock.  Hasn't seemed to help much, but maybe I need to get more aggressive.  As far as wall wetting, isn't it used more under engine braking then just idle / part throttle? Again, after about 2 minutes of letting the car idle it runs perfectly fine.

I resolved this by forcing more enrichment, it's running fine, event just after starting.

How much more did you add overall to the cold start table and the warm up tables?  As I said i'm at 30% and seeing very little improvement.  Also it's hard to fix by trial and error as the car only does it after sitting for 8 hours..

In my temp enrichment factor,, it's normally beetween 0 and 1, I moved very near of 1,so it's near 40% more in my case...

which maps are you adjusting?

this is easily solved by raising FKSTT (sometimes FKSTT_0_A, FKSTT_1_A) by approx 30% in 0 degC and lower.. and make a smooth transition to +15degC.

Sn00k I've done this and like I said same issues... And it's like 52-58 degrees Fahrenheit on starts up in the morning so it isn't even cold.  Maybe I need to enrich more than 30%?

With much more enrichment in the cold start and warm up maps I was able to achieve a nice start every time and being able to drive off within 20 seconds from starting with no issues. Thanks for the input on this one everyone.
